Lost in a crowd

Here I am lost in this crowd
Still trying to find a way out .
To the top of my voice I shout
Oh god ! I can't shout loud .
This is making me suffocate
Where r u my dreams , I still try to locate .
I have not yet reached my destination
My will power , my only motivation .
I badly need to take some rest
Don't know where to go - east or west ?
Now I regret blindly following the crowd
Only to make my parents feel proud .
I sacrificed my ambition
For the world's fake appreciation .
If I had followed my heart
My happiness and I wouldnt have been apart
But it is still not late , to find the right gate
Enough of the long wait .
Its time to take the right path
And put an end to this wrath .
Now I will listen to no one but my soul
Its high time I realised my goal ..

Friends NOT forever

Here they are two best friends
Always together like the world's two ends
Walking together on life's every bend
As restless as waiting for a reply after pressing 'send'.
She is beautiful and he smart
Their differences can never set them apart
Rightfully playing a best friend's part
Together all their problems depart.
They met first in school
She was shy and he acting cool
Her eyes and their long talks made him drool
She started liking this crazy fool.
Tuitions, birthdays , outings they were together
This was surely something meant to be forever
"I promise to never leave you ever "
On farewell they promised each other .
They were still connected on fb and whatsapp
Still talking all the world's crap
She was the destination and he the map
He was stress and she a relaxing nap.
But suddenly she was not being herself
She was confused and surely needed help
Problems in friendship creeped by themselves
As feeling more than friendship she felt.
Urging to tell him about it
But courage not a bit
Her friendship could be badly hit
Love with your best friend was a misfit .
Trust issues creeped but solved never
Her friendship could not be saved however
No matter how they tried to recover
They proved that not all friendships are forever.

Depressed ? Are you really

Im at the most crowded spot of the town , suicide point
This fact makes me disappoint .
Standing here at this highpoint,
Wanting to know each one's viewpoint .
 The first person to attempt suicide was a small kid ,
Beneath his innocent heart were scars hid
His tears flowing rapid
His parents didn't have time for him was how his story undid.
“I'm depressed , I want to die “.
The next one was a teenager dejected ,
By his classmates nd friends rejected.
With pressure from family and peers he was injected ,
On his discoloured face it clearly reflected.
“I'm depressed , I want to die”
Next in line was a lady ,
Insecurities about her life was a complaint daily.
With under confidence, Looking gravely
No signs of positivity even vaguely .
“I'm depressed , I want to die”.
Then walking up is a middle aged man
Climbing out from his new sedan .
Tensions of job , marriage and money was how his life ran
Suicide was his only safe , fool proof plan .
“I'm depressed , I want to die”.
To my surprise I see an old couple ,
Walking together even in the time of trouble .
Their lonely life a real struggle ,
Their problems looking clear as a bubble.
“We’re depressed . we want to die.”
To everyone I say only one thing ,
Depression is a ten letter word and so is positive thinking .
There are hopes of being saved even when sinking ,
You require a calm and wise thinking .
Your life is precious , not worth so easily ending ,
needs of a bit of carefully mending .
Your problems will then start descending ,
No harm in trying .
